London based artist MAGUIRE has released her debut EP ‘Préludes’. The stirring five track collection includes three brand new songs, opening with the lead track ‘Strangers’. The EP follows the release of two singles this year, which have led critics to draw comparisons between MAGUIRE and the likes of PJ Harvey and Thom Yorke.

Produced by Steph Marziano and mixed by Barny Barnicott, MAGUIRE’s debut EP evokes a sense of hopeful melancholy. It probes questions about the human condition – loneliness, intimacy, desire – and the nature of creative inspiration. Ultimately it urges for true connection in a time of isolation. She is currently in the studio with Liam Howe (Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs) working on future releases.
